Robert Lee – Chief Cook & Bottle Washer

In 1986, Robert and his dad opened the franchise print shop known as Sir Speedy Printing. In 2008, Robert became an independent business now called the Print Spot. Robert has a high degree of all printing mediums. He specializes in producing creative products. From paper to vinyl, he knows how to print it. With his high energy and “can do” attitude, Robert has proven the Print Spot stands out as a flexible, cost efficient, high quality company. He, along with the Print Spot team, is customer focused and are dedicated to making our customers successful.

Robert graduated from UCLA, with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Prior to being an entrepreneur he worked at Vons Grocery store on Crenshaw and Olympic, where he met his lovely bride, Wende.

In addition to operating the Print Spot, he enjoys cycling. Any kind of cycling, mountain biking, road biking, tandem biking. Need a bike? Ask Robert!

Wende Lee – Marketing and Administrator

Wende recently joined the Print Spot in 2014. She was working with Robert and his dad from 1987 to 1997 but ventured out into the corporate world. Wende worked at Oaktree Capital Management initially as a temporary assistant and eventually worked her way up to becoming a Vice President. She managed a facilities team that included the mailroom, reception and corporate concierge. Wende wore various corporate hats that included construction, vendor lease negotiations, travel management and event planning. After giving 17 years to the corporate environment, Robert and Wende decided it was time to come back and focus their efforts on the Print Shop. And yes, they do like to work together!

Wende has two fond passions -running and pottery. She is the 10 Mile Challenge coach of the Pasadena Pacers and will make a bowl, just out of pure joy of making a bowl. Come to the shop to see some of her work!

Chad Korb – Graphic Designer

Chad joined the Print Spot in 2011. He has been a critical addition to our print shop. His creativity and ability to listen to what the client wants is priceless. He is the developer of our website and maintains our social media presence. He has experience in developing publications from start to finish, including writing, editing, layout and distribution. He has a Bachelor of Studio Arts degree with a focus on Graphic Design from Montana State University. Prior to joining the Print Spot he worked with various graphic companies in Montana until he moved to California. He has extensive knowledge in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Muse and Garage Band.

Chad, as a side relief from the day-to-day job is a stand-up Comedian and will travel thousands of miles to make people laugh. He recently quit smoking, started to meditate and began eating Kale. Thankfully for Wende, he still eats beef. We think California has made an impression on his new transitions in life.

James Holguin – Production Manager

James has been with the Print Spot since 2004 and has been an essential component to the success of our print shop. He has over 15 years of experience with large sheet fed press, pre-press work and coordination of all digital press operations. He operates and manages the preparing of print jobs that need various types of bindery. James is the key contact for pricing and estimates. He earned his Associate Degree at Don Bosco Technical Institute. James has knowledge in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Prior to working at the Print Spot he was a Production Coordinator at Monarch Litho.

In his spare time he enjoys music and will DJ when asked. He is an avid USC fan, but we won’t hold that against him.

Kyle Lee – Production Manager

JD Monge

Kyle recently joined the Print Spot when he moved back to Los Angeles from Oregon. While he was in Oregon he worked for Wesmark Label where he started as a pre-press Assistant and work his way up to a Press Operator within two years. Kyle operates and manages Print Spot’s satellite office at a Charter school in Woodland hills. He earned a BA Degree in Physics and UC Riverside.

When Kyle isn’t working, more than likely you will see him in front of a board game. Being the Board Game Enthusiast that he is, his favorite (today) is Settlers of Catan. If he looks familiar, he probably is… he is Robert and Wende’s oldest son.
